Do some contour drawings (just the outline of the objects, hard continuous lines), sustained line drawings, some blind (eyes closed) gesture drawings, and some gesture drawings. Try to get the feel of the object rather than wasting (inevitably) hours on this over-detailed under-structured stuff.
