This guy always seems to be "great friends" with so many different artists that appear to have nothing to do with each other. So great of friends that they do "gift" art for him.

I think he is just loaded and pays artists a large amount for commissions. I've noticed that most of the "gift" art is from people who aren't taking commissions at the time.

I for one am one of such people who remained closed and yet have done several commissions for him and you know what? I haven't been paid once.

Like many people.

People donate art to help raise funds for other people or causes meanwhile he is the one donating the money. That is how he got a lot of his art. That does not mean that the artists where paid (lol fuckton) or that they gave him preferential treatment or that they buddy up just because money and art is involved.

Go take it to /hugbox/ if you are butthurt about not getting enough gift art or commission slots but don't assume that every artist who does art for him is as petty as you are.
