Thanks, I'll go looking for it then. I didn't realize it was an old, long-going storyline.

Which is a form of artistic laziness. The rest of the body is pretty damn expressive if you know how to use it.

There was this one comic that was ruined by the sudden "cameo" appearance of some popular char that I don't know, which switched suddenly between fighting, awful porn scenes, and wtf plot. Any idea what that was?

Bad Company is most likely a troll comic. That or Gunmouth popped a screw loose from his head that day.

This is not a Clubstripes Bitching Page. This is a Gideon Bitching page.
God dammit guys, you really annoy me, let's keep bitching about GIDEON and his TOOBCAWKS and get EVERY SINGLE CLUBSTRIPES THREAD DELETED and NO REQUESTS.

Meesh comic prediction: "I'm gay too!" then buttsex.

The buttsex may or may not happen in the library.

I'm predicting more of a "Dude, what's that like?" and he's all "Honestly, I haven't got much experience, but..." (mini flashback like the first guy's) and the other guy goes, "Sounds awesome, let's do it"

Close...

But the answer is, "You wanna fool around? I'm kinda curious.." Then suddenly "I can show you how to suck cock!"

lolwut? How do you go from being curious to professing your knowledge?

It's interesting that the cougar character automatically assumes that the gay dude WANTS to suck his dick. Because smaller, thinner people can't ever be tops durrr durrr how does I write comix
>> No. 5803 ID: 8f9199
>>5794
The whole "Dur hur hur" think makes me want to disregard everything you say, but you bring up an interesting point. the cougar does assume that the shy virgin guy with no experience is automatically the bottom, but isn't that already the stereotype that a dude with no experience dealing with real life homosexuals would think?
>> No. 5805 ID: 7f9e97
>>5794

So wait, you're assuming a top would never suck dick? Why, because he's the "male" and would never do anything "female" like sucking dick?

Sounds to me like you're the one making idiot assumptions.

Having it done to you is a different perspective of doing it to someone else. You only know some of the mechanics.

He also says he'll show him, not just coach him.
>> No. 5943 ID: e9d988
>>5940

He could still fancy himself an expert, even if it's not objectively true. He might also try and give it a shot if he's confident and/or bicurious enough.
>> No. 5944 ID: 0fa5b8
>>5943

But as a competent writer, you do your best avoid such confusions. Being experimental implies a lack of knowledge that comes with the experience.

Doesn't go well with claiming a form of expertise.
>> No. 5945 ID: 9591c0
>>5944

People do not always say only things which make the utmost logical sense and that stand up to intense scrutiny from without.

Thus the same is true of characters.

Don't be such a whiner.
>> No. 5971 ID: 0fa5b8
>>5945

Be that as it may in reality, in writing it can create confusion and that's something best to avoid.

From another standpoint, it takes away from the idea of experimentation when one claims expertise or some kind.
>> No. 5975 ID: e9d988
>>5971

Or maybe the comic isn't done yet, and it'll be revealed in the story why he said that? As for your second point, he might only have partial experience. Orrr "wanna experiment" was just an excuse for some fooling around. And if that's not enough, hey, the other party's pretty much a blushing virgin. The cougar might be suggesting experimenting for the other guy's sake.

... So wait, this comic has always been HER story? We're just leaving the other guy to get executed off screen, but we're following the prostitute to watch her fuck a ship captain to get passage?

... The love that can be different is the vague affection and talking that rises from afterglow?

I am disappoint.
>> No. 6738 ID: cd140b
>>6737
Sechs, did you ever really pay attention to what was going on in the first comic? From his perspective, he had a girl kidnapped and falsely imprisoned, tied her up and started forcefully taking off her clothes, and then had her finish stripping for him if she wanted to have some damn blankets to sleep under, all for no reason other than that he wanted to bone her. "Love" indeed.

Love Can Be Different is no different than any other Miles DF comic: good pictures, shitty writing. (Don't forget that this is the guy who ended a porn comic with a nuke.)

I actually had forgotten. And he did something like say it was because "I like to include normal events and mishaps" or some shit. Ffffff-

Well, since Clubstripes has proven they're not immune towards that shit, I wonder if this one will end with them boarded by pirates and stabbed to death. At this point I kind of hope so.
>> No. 6740 ID: e15538

>I like to include normal events and mishaps

A normal event and/or mishap would be things like car crashes, a house fire, calling her by the wrong name(Girls really don't like that, BTW), stuff like that. Detonating a several-kiloton nuclear device that wipes out an entire city is not "normal" nor is it a "mishap."
"Oops, looks like we accidentaly nuked Columbus!"
No, just no.

>I wonder if this one will end with them boarded by pirates and stabbed to death

I'm hoping for "raped by sea monster and dragged down to the bottom of the ocean" ending, personally.

>> No. 6744 ID: 06f904
That's kind of a severe interpretation of the story, although LCBD admittedly makes slightly more sense if you read the short story that the comic is based upon.
>> No. 6745 ID: cd140b
>>6744
It's not an interpretation, it's what happened (as far as he knew). And having to read a completely unrelated story just to make sense of the comic only reinforces that the writing is terrible.

As for the ending of LCBD 2, if Miles continues as he has been it'll probably end with the captain and the whore fucking in the cargo hold and the captain's pipe falling into a store of gunpowder they're carrying, blowing everything sky high. It's just the kind of out-of-nowhere, utterly impersonal touch that he seems to like.
>> No. 6746 ID: 677dfa

Well... he's Russian. Something depressing seems to be a must in any media that country exports, which may explain why every singe one of his comics ends with a sudden Reader Punch.

So far, detecting large quantities of fail in this sector, captain.

Trial? Seriously? She's being put on trial for losing a fight against some dumb animal her sister summoned? What're we gonna get, a handful of panels of those three gangbanging her in her cell, then ten pages of worldbuilding and shaming Mora for losing to the animal?

MY ANUS STILL ACHES FROM THE LAST COMIC.

Actually, she's on trial just for fighting Rain, instead of tossing the goddamned thing back through the portal it came through in the first place and getting buttfucked some more.

Just sayin' is all. My hopes aren't high for this, either.

From what I remember from talking with Gunmouth during the whole Bad Company fiasco, both Mora and Mara are supposed to be sadistic, selfish bitches with no redeeming personality traits whatsoever (though he didn't rule out the possibility of either or both of them developing some over the course of what he has planned for them).

>my face at a new Mora comic

In all honesty, why are we coming back to this story? It was already ruined as a porn comic from the time That Fucking Thing got introduced in the previous installment, and I can only see this devolving further into WORDSWORDSWORDS while constantly cutting away from the actual porn.

Thus my expectations are set super low. And yet, if he surpasses them, I will be surprised.
>> No. 7381 ID: 542fb2
Hey, Matt? Yeah, Matt?

Sign up for DrunkDuck. That's where Mora and Mara should be doing serious talking.
