That's kind of a severe interpretation of the story, although LCBD admittedly makes slightly more sense if you read the short story that the comic is based upon.

It's not an interpretation, it's what happened (as far as he knew). And having to read a completely unrelated story just to make sense of the comic only reinforces that the writing is terrible.

As for the ending of LCBD 2, if Miles continues as he has been it'll probably end with the captain and the whore fucking in the cargo hold and the captain's pipe falling into a store of gunpowder they're carrying, blowing everything sky high. It's just the kind of out-of-nowhere, utterly impersonal touch that he seems to like.

From what I remember from talking with Gunmouth during the whole Bad Company fiasco, both Mora and Mara are supposed to be sadistic, selfish bitches with no redeeming personality traits whatsoever (though he didn't rule out the possibility of either or both of them developing some over the course of what he has planned for them).

In all honesty, why are we coming back to this story? It was already ruined as a porn comic from the time That Fucking Thing got introduced in the previous installment, and I can only see this devolving further into WORDSWORDSWORDS while constantly cutting away from the actual porn.
