I has rules!

1. Don't start threads.
2. You don't whine about what I post, end of discussion.
3. I'm the only one allowed to troll.
4. Feel free to reply, comment, etc. with text posts in the threads.
5. Please don't, however, assume that any thread is a request for posting more content unless it specifically says so. (If I start a reaction image thread, I might be wanting to reference it later. Having other images would make it harder to find the ones I want.)
6. You'll probably get banned once or twice. Don't feel bad about it. It's my way of getting the final word being awesome.
7. Heretical activity will be reported to the nearest Inquisitorial representative.
8. Please pick a name/tripcode and stick to it. (More suggestion than rule, but it gets you more leeway than being anonymous.)
9. [This rule was traded to Sechs for two rules to be named later.]

I've come to the conclusion that I particularly dislike it when someone simply posts a link, video, image or whatnot and says "THAT'S WHAT I BELIEVE!"

Why?

Because almost every time that someone does this, they simply are incapable of defending their point of view whenever anyone attempts to show them where they think they're wrong, or they simply leave a thread afterwards because they made almost zero investment in the thread.

I know I've done this in the past and I'm making a concerted effort to stop it.

/v/, I think.

But you'd get better discussion from /tg/.

Alrighty then. How did you get involved with the furry fandom? Why did you choose a polar bear? What are your opinions on the fandom?

It depends upon the year, species (seal, sea lion, walrus, harbor seal, etc, etc, etc)breed and geographic location that they're from.

Personally, I've found that the ones on the western part of North America seem to be the tastiest and require the least amount of seasoning, whereas, surprisingly, those found in eastern Russia, just a little ways away, require a bit of salt.

"a good troll must be sarcastic (or deeply understand sarcasm) and have a good sense of humor. relaxed trolls are the best kind.

he needs to make other people want to reply to his post. Whether or not the replies are positive or negative it up to the troll.

A proper troll is sophisticated and reasonably articulate, and does not flame or use profanity until much later in the game. swearing must be used sparingly.

a troll must always go over-the top. never settle on sub-par pictures (or messages) that drain energy from the thread and other posters. this kills threads quickly, making the whole point of trolling the thread a moot one.

keep your posts filled with energy so that the next poster has something to grab onto. That way, fellow trolls can build upon your efforts, and everyone else remains butthurt."

Serious question here, guys..

If I started a donation drive, with the intent of collecting monies to get Sage to record himself singing the Rescue Rangers theme song, and pledging his love for Gadget Hackwrench.. Who all would be willing to add funds for this?

I am 100% serious.

Sage has said he has a mic, so one won't be needed for donation. So instead, we have to convince him to do it.

Who all is interested?

Such an audio file will become the background music for /sage/ upon completion.

>I will bet you anything that you can't read through the CWCki for a few hours, than come back here and tell me you aren't feeling even just a wee bit better.

I've read through it numerous times, while it's always good to know nothing I can do will make me as bad as Chris, it doesn't really make me feel any better about myself.

I find that everybody has something different that makes them happy.

When the big things get me down, I try to focus on the little things and hobbies that make me happy. Usually doing something constructive or creative (gardening, writing D&D modules).

When it's the little things that drive me crazy I try to look at the big picture, (I have my health, I'm not starving on the street, I have at least one good friend that I can count on)

Well, that's just what works for me, what's good for you could be totally different.

I know there's a rule bnot to bitch about threads, but I'm going to be as honest as possible and as your friend, kick you in the ass..

This thread is bullshit because you're absolutely wrong about yourself

As I told you, you wouldn't have been given mod duties if you weren't respected. And to this day, no regular to my knowledge has ever said a bad word about what you for the site behind your back

You graduated college, granted it took you 5 years for a 2 year degree, but you don't give yourself enough credit for even doing it.

For the whole time I've known you, you've always done what's asked of you as a friend of mine and as parts of various groups and such without any cynicism whatsoever. Not to mention you've given me chance after chance after I screw up.

That said, you're not always going to get the accolades you think you deserve for what you do online or offline. The tough part is working hard , staying positive, and acting with dignity through it all..

No one is going to know who are if you sleep all day and stay up till 6am, and if they do, they'll know you as an epic failure because you're choosing to wallow in regret and not revel in opportunity.

I'm not saying you should have never been upset about lack of acknowledgement, but in the end, you do what you have to do for 1 or 2 people(depending on your beliefs).. You, and whoever's upstairs in the sky.

Do you happen to be on skype? If so, talk to SilverAutomatic while he's at work. If someone especially stupid calls him, your day will be instantly better.
