This would probably be where you expect me to have my Q&A thread.

However I cannot trust you all not to be horny little monkeys. So you are not allowed to ask questions about me.

I will, however, answer questions about people and things other than me to the best of my knowledge and ability.

And now that I have disallowed questions about my bewbs, we can aaaall let this thread die a nice, quiet death.

As far as I can recall, never. I don't play a lot of online PvP games, and when I do it's hard to say that I've ever made anyone ragequit.

I guess the closest I can think of was that I tried to tell someone in STO not to go to Full Impulse to engage the enemy faster, since it lowered their defenses. The next time they got annihilated while I was still puttputting over, they just left the instance without a word.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I really don't know. I find most of the famous webcomic artists who actually have big presences on the web and among their fandom to be annoying, pretentious, and so on. (Tycho's a good example, utter twat.) I dislike Yahtzee "My Whiny Bitching Is Amusing Because Of My Accent" Crosshaw. And I haven't actually watched enough of the "ranting nerd" type vlogs to have many opinions on them.

I don't think it will happen here. If it happens, it will probably happen out there. Probably not on a planet. Either a more or equally advanced species would understand the value of neutral ground, or they'd want to try us out before going right to the main thing.

I would say likelihood leans towards "Peaceful, but tense."

Yup. Did some big serious stuff, did some comedy (most famously "Three Men And A Baby"), but he also directed a few of the Star Trek movies, including my favorite.

It's something Sage knows how to do with the board software. Basically if you're a regular and liked decently, you can go on IRC, tell him the tripcode you're using, and he can filter it to something custom for you.

The urge is often. Actually opening the program and writing happens very rarely anymore sadly.

>>438

This is me, pretty much. And you two are getting waaaay too personal.

>>439

For some measure of difficult, yes. It can be stressful and annoying. However, I make it a point never to let it be more stressful or annoying than real-life pursuits. If I find something is bothering me more than, say, getting a rude phone call while I'm working, I just sort of go "Fuck it" and either rant, ban someone, avoid the place for awhile, or some combination of the three to blow off some steam and let it settle. Because this is not my job, my calling, my duty, my privilege, or my service... it's just my fucking sandbox.

>>400

Used to be pretty much all-console, because my PCs were always behind the bend on being able to play current games. Ironically, at the moment, I'm all PC because I shelled out for a really nice one, but my PS3 is dead (I've never gotten around to seeing about getting the power supply fixed), my XBox is sitting in a box, and none of my PS2 or PSX games have been particularly calling me when I have a ton of new stuff on Steam I haven't even tried out yet.

OK, now for some more serious questions:

1: I'm fairly certain that Sage was the one who wanted to start this site, but what prompted you to help? Did he come to you for help with admining the site, or did you offer?

2: Why is Hiro a mod? In my whole 8(ish) months of posting here, I haven't seen him do that much.
>> No. 470 ID: 9591c0
>>469

1. Actually it was sort of my idea. It was just sort of a lark, kind of "Hey Sibe banned me for being butthurt... let's make an imageboard and ban him!" And no, we did not think this was fabulously mature or awesome, we were giggling like someone visiting a flaming poobag on a teacher they didn't like.

Though there was some genuine desire to have a place to post stuff that wasn't lulz. It actually used to be a little less shitty than it is now, but it was still headed downhill when we first went over to anonib. Back then things were so simple that it didn't require one of us to run the place. We didn't become "Sage does the board stuff" and "Sechs does most of the adminning" until we moved to an actual board.

2. He's not, anymore. Basically Hiro helped us out during a period where we were getting a lot of troll attacks. Since he didn't really do a whole lot once they subsided, he's back to a regular user.

>> No. 473 ID: 7f9e97
>>471

1. Usually fruit.

2. Something extremely sandboxy but also with purpose. Fallout 3 and its approach of throwing resources at modders to say "Here, have fun" is basically the prototype for what I think the perfect game would be. I want to be able to run around and do aimless shit, but I also want to be able to pick up a quest and go running around purposefully killing bad guys. I'd like to be able to interact with the general public, but also have my own spaces or instanced versions to just run around in on my own.

So my idea of a perfect video game would, I guess, be some unholy chimera of Fallout 3, Second Life, and World of Warcraft.

Oh, well Sage's usually the one who seems to know how to handle alot of the board stuff, so I just assumed that starting the board woulda been his idea. Next question: I have a bunch of content that I'm looking to dump into a thread on /fun/, and I've heard that they have image dumping programs/scripts for image boards. Can you recommend one?

Who are your favourite comic book writers, and what examples would you cite to highlight their abilities as a comic book writer?

What are your thoughts on the exploitation movie director Bruno Mattei?

Is your hate towards Nintendo and its products rooted mainly on its insufferably religious fanbase? If not, what is it about them?

Lately? That you need an internet break or to go take a rage dump or something. You got in a slapfight with some newb in a /dammit/ thread over nothing and came close to completely derailing it.

See top of thread. I've already bent the "don't ask question about me" rule a whole helluva lot, and this is exactly the kind of question I put the rule there for in the first place.

>>528

I found furry art.

Then I found image boards.

It's really that simple, pretty much. There was no lightning strike of "This one thing touched me deeply and from then on I was involved", I just sort of wandered into it.

I WOULD HAVE THEM BOTH!

"Ever tried anal?"

Honestly I'm kind of on the outs with just about every current comic writer for some reason or another.

In fact, the only one I can think of that hasn't pissed me off is Adam Warren. His writing is consistently silly but intelligent, using scientific theory and amusing technobabble right alongside the T&A so that it doesn't insult his readers' intelligence. Empowered is, in my honest opinion, the best superhero comic currently being published, and while part of that may be that superhero comics in general suck giant amounts of ass right now, it still manages to distill the essence of the genre and include it along with a ton of fun cheesecake.

I have no opinion on Bruno Mattei.

I don't really hate Nintendo and its products. I do hate Nintendo fanboys. Plus it gives me an equivalent to Rags trolling about the PS3, though if you really want to troll him just make comments about the bitching about TF2 and Left 4 Dead.

Have you ever seen the original yu-gi-oh series? not the cardgame one, the one with lots of different games. What's your opinion?

Nope.

Well, I recommend it, if only for the last two episodes where they play D&D with Bakura. And death tower where they play Exploding Laser-tag, a quiz show where a wrong answer gets you crushed, and Tetris OF DOOM.

Any favorites in old school anime?

Bitch you'd best believe it!

(Actually I have several other Voltron-era shows that I also remember fondly, but most of them are so obscure and so far in the past that I either wouldn't be able to find pictures of them or have been all but unable to find their actual names again.)

But stuff like this is why I am still very much in the Super Robots camp, whereas one of my best friends is a big fan of Bipedal Tanks or whatever you'd prefer to call a closer-to-"hard"-scifi mecha fan.

Owww...I feel like I just got smacked upside the head with a 20lb bag of nostalgia...

Have you ever colored or bleached your hair? What do you think of people who use very...*vibrant...colors on their hair?

*Nausea inducing

I believe hard(er) sci-fi mecha are called Real Robots, though I could be mistaken.

Anyway, my question: I'm assuming you made a wolf character for consistency with Sage. If you had gotten into furry without knowing he was your brother, what kind of character do you think you'd have gone with?

'Real' is a pretty wide range, but generally refers to gundams rather than the walking tanks.

Anyways, Sechs, not to sound self centered, but what's your opinion on me? You know, other than my political naivete.

"OMG that is awesome" and "I hope my tits don't get drawn bigger than my head this time".
