So I plugged in a segment from Taffy's Sweet Things. It said I write like Stephen King.

I plugged in some from an unfinished Fallout 3 fanfic I worked on for a few days. ... It says I write like Dan Brown. ("Who the fuck is Dan Brown?" *clicktypetypeclick* "... What HIM?!")

Sailor Moon fanfic. Dan Brown again.

Kim Possible fanfic. WhoTF is Raymond Chandler? ... Oh. Okay.

... I don't even READ THESE GUYS!!

I put in some of one of the original stories I wrote a few years back and came up with Tolkien. I could be onto something =D

Your writing is exceptionally dry, longwinded, and only an excuse to invent a language?
>> No. 547 ID: ac4a51
Put in a few of my best poems, got Vladamir Nabokov every time. No idea who he is either. Maybe I should write more iambic pentameter, maybe it'll call me shakespeare, or coleridge

A new language? Hmmmm never thought of that.

Nabakov wrote Lolita.

I tried this a couple of times, first with a bit of on-the-fly prose, one of my longer porn pieces (which I should put in /write/ eventually), then something I was working on for an anthology submission.

On the fly got me Margaret Atwood (The Handmaid's Tale).

The porn, David Foster Wallace. I really don't know this guy at all--first I've heard of him. I probably picked a bad segment.

And the submission...

...Stephenie Meyer.

I keel.

I write like Chuck Palahniuk and Vladmir Nabokov.

The first is the man who wrote Fight Club. I can live with that.

The second wrote Lolita. I suppose that means I'll write something great that'll become material for perverts.

>>Muriel seems to at times. His trope is part non-talking sapient animal, and part Tex Avery Speech Gag (he's the one that started this, right?), where he's too flustered by what's happening so he morphs into what he's trying to say. It's not 100% though, I think more because she's a kindly naive old scottish housewife than simply not understanding though.

This gives... *drumroll*
