Seriously, goddammit, enough with this. If something starts sinking to the back pages, one bump. If there are three bumps in a row, no more bumping it, wait for it to idle out and make a new one.

And stop endlessly whining "I still need this! I still need this!" Look, if no one's answered the request, we can fucking see that no one's answered the request, and you need to stop mewling like a hungry kitten for it or I'm going to tie you up in a bag and toss it in the river. (IE, excessive requesting will result in a ban.)

I try not to nag, I haven't even pestered anyone to actually be polite and say "thank you" lately, and clearly my lenience has fostered retardation. Stop acting like fchanners or I'll pull out the iron fist and the banhammer it's holding, dammit.

Since using IRC can be slow, and dealing with rapidshare/megaupload can get annoying, I've decided to get a furry filesharing network going.

Download, Install, than add &xzVXYeR7E4f!A as the network code. It should than connect to me, than you can connect to others that have done the same, and will be able to search, download and upload.

If that network code doesn't work use the code listed on this website instead (http://ordway.ath.cx:5121/alliance/) as ill keep that one updated.

I'm currently sharing some artist CDs (Inuki/Karabiner/Dr.Comet) and comics (Jay Naylor/Palcomix/Book of the beast/Softpaw/etc) and I am still adding stuff.

Anyone else got codes?

GrauFuchs you're a retard. Look in options and uncheck "connection codes I create can only be used once" then make a new buddy code.

PS. Might want to check this out http://kenai.com/projects/alliancep2p-beta/downloads alliance-v1.0.8b-1047 has group support, encryption works, and all past bugs have been fixed.

It's a sharing P2P client. The fact that it requires you to change this is kinda strange. Nevertheless. I shall not be using this poor client. Not only does the invite system default settings suck but it is slow,clunky and the UI is appauling. I'll stick with much better solutions. And mr troll you failed to hurt my efeelings. I still think there are far better options for P2P clients.

The 'haves' should post a screen cap of the stuff they are willing to share. The 'have nots' can then humbly request an upload of an item or two. I will start with my comics folder that desperately needs trimming. It has items descriptively named things like "comic"
Hopefully there is something that peeks your interest however.

Okay, got the torrent down. added 2 more open trackers, plus demonoid, plus hexagon. I will upload the new torrent file via mediafire once it's compiled and posted, with any luck, all it will do is add trackers and download the mandatory Demonoid tracking file. =3

Sure we had another P2P app in >>220 but some of us had mixed results, so I purpose an alternative: WASTE

For those who don't know, WASTE is a decentralized P2P network that uses trusted peers that identify each other by public key. It uses cryptography very heavily in this scheme to ensure data is not intercepted or blocked and can thwart most traffic filtering and monitoring. It even includes chat and searching of files. Setup/Compile your program and run it for the first time to generate a key, then go to preferences and select private key and click "generate private key..." then enter your password (keep the 2048 bits). After you generated your keys, click "Copy public key to clipboard". Go to network password and enter without quotes: "Faptacular." Check the network settings and forward the appropriate ports (usually 1337). Paste your public key in this thread so I and others can add it. Connect to wasteland.dnsdojo.net:1337.
That's it! I'll check back from time to time to add more public keys and help people who would like to join in.
