Since using IRC can be slow, and dealing with rapidshare/megaupload can get annoying, I've decided to get a furry filesharing network going.

http://www.alliancep2p.com/

Download, Install, than add &xzVXYeR7E4f!A as the network code. It should than connect to me, than you can connect to others that have done the same, and will be able to search, download and upload.

If that network code doesn't work use the code listed on this website instead (http://ordway.ath.cx:5121/alliance/) as ill keep that one updated.

I'm currently sharing some artist CDs (Inuki/Karabiner/Dr.Comet) and comics (Jay Naylor/Palcomix/Book of the beast/Softpaw/etc) and I am still adding stuff.

Anyone else got codes?

That code doesn't work for me. And Alliance's "Add connection wizard" says, "Each code is valid once so you need to generate a new code for each friend you invite."

Add Ua&Fg3V6LN6+ig

has lots of Furry friends with torrents, seems to work.

Post your codes, make sure you choose the "

Alliance works again! Post codes!

I can't connect to anyone. Keeps giving me a generic error about "has his Alliance turned off or his firewall blocking the connection".
I can only generate a code: UN223jD7G!eQuw

I have added the program & port to Windows. firewall exception list, and I'm not running any programs using the same port. Utorrent tells me the port is supposedly working.

Does this even work with straight through cable modems?

I'm having the same issues as >>709 . Anyone know the issue? My box has every port forwarded and working right.

It's looking like all available networks are down and since my computer is up pretty much 24/7 anyways, I'll act as a host until someone brings up something a bit more stable.

The code is rTcuPmWNpfJS9A, I have a couple of various archives up and ready (and a couple of things that were handy) but not much else; the rest is going to have to be contributed.

Not to be off-topic but is there a list of other Alliance networks? Obviously they'd have to be hush-hush since they're not public.

I dunno who you are queue, but DAYUUUM. Sorry for all the leeching, but you have some awesome stuff. I wish I had some things to share back; I feel like shit for having only 4GB where you have like 288GB.

I'll start trying to add more ISOs of shit that I have (TRON 2.0 is actually semi-decent by the way). Meanwhile, for those of you that may be having connection issues to me, here's another code: rTcuPmWNciZ+Mw

I'll try to get things stepped up a touch on my end.

Ill take a chence for a litle propaganda ;] im inviting everyone to a file sharing hub on DC++. All you have to do is download an app caled DC++ and type in the hub address: luna.net.nz:411. you need to share at least 10MB to be able to connect.

Well I don't have that much smut right now, I just survived from a HDD crash back in December and I'm looking to build up again from scratch, but I do have some movies, games and stuff from my other drive.
And I never knew there was a Tron game, I'm going to try that out.

Also, I can't seem to connect to any friends of friends for some reason (the option is grayed out). So here's a new code that should work for more than one person: UN223jD72UxFqw

>>749
This is also very nice.

I actually survived something similar at about that time as well, so I'm pretty much rebuilding my stash too. That's why my share is tiny.

Be forewarned about TRON though, there's no character development whatsoever and what little there is is stiff and poorly thought out. For example, Byte is killed off completely unceremoniously about a third of the way through the game and is never mentioned again.

If you're the type who likes story with his shooter, it's not the game for you. Otherwise, enjoy!

Well, maybe it's worth a try, come on and lets see

This system is retarded it says the each "code" is only valid for each friend you invite. IE codes only work once. You need a new system
>> No. 1559 ID: 15c7f2
GrauFuchs you're a retard. Look in options and uncheck "connection codes I create can only be used once" then make a new buddy code.

PS. Might want to check this out http://kenai.com/projects/alliancep2p-beta/downloads alliance-v1.0.8b-1047 has group support, encryption works, and all past bugs have been fixed.

It's a sharing P2P client. The fact that it requires you to change this is kinda strange. Nevertheless. I shall not be using this poor client. Not only does the invite system default settings suck but it is slow, clunky and the UI is appauling. I'll stick with much better solutions. And mr troll you failed to hurt my efeelings. I still think there are far better options for P2P clients.

Everyone realize by now that you're butthurt and feel ridiculed. Which you are, because you're an idiot. Actually, to everyone except you, it makes perfect sense that the code is, BY DEFAULT, only valid once for security reasons. For CONVENIENCE, they gladly give you the option to disable this security function.
1. Get program, use it, get free furry shit.
or 2. DON'T get program, DON'T use it, DON'T get free furry shit.

a new beta is out that fixes a large number of bugs and also adds many optimizations. You can get it at their new location here http://code.google.com/p/alliancep2pbeta/
>> No. 1838 ID: f54d81
I'm going to give this thing a shot. Be nice and help me out if I run into trouble right?
>> No. 1839 ID: f54d81
Well damn, that was quick. I'm trying to install v1.0.6.
The install goes well. But when I actually try to run it, it displays an error message saying "Unable to access jarfile alliance.tmp"

I'm in need of assistance.
>> No. 1843 ID: 15c7f2

uninstall V1.0.6, it's unstable. Download the beta of v1.1.0c here http://code.google.com/p/alliancep2pbeta/ there's no installer and it's portable. Aside from fixing bugs they also made it so Alliance uses far less ram.
